Overlooking World’s View, this hotel is perfectly positioned for guests who want to explore the scenic beauty of Nyanga and savour the crisp mountain air.

This country hostelry has earned a consistent reputation for the warmth of its hospitality and courteous service. Continuing with age old tradition, guests are welcomed by a roaring log fire that has never stopped burning since the opening of the resort more than 50 years ago. With 73 well styled rooms, The hotel has the unique and welcoming feel of a small establishment that leaves many of its guests feeling perfectly at home from the very beginning of their stay.

The resorts accommodation options range from rooms with king-size, twin and double beds, all of which are classically decked out in the crispest pastel coloured and patterned linen. There is one family unit that accommodates up to five people in two inter-leading rooms.

Disabled guests are allocated easily accessible rooms in the east wing and on days when the clean mountain air is a little frosty our guests need not suffer with wall to wall carpeting, under floor heating as well as additional oil heaters placed in each room. All rooms on the Lake Wing have private balconies, glass doors and large windows looking out onto striking views of the lake and golf course.

The restaurant at the Troutbeck resort is called The Beck Restaurant, it can accommodation for 160 people. The terrace is a favourite site for meals surrounded by towering mountains.

Guests can also enjoy tranquil picnics in the garden. The Hare and Hound is a cosy bar where guest can relax away the time.

The conferencing facilities at Troutbeck Resort can cater for a sizable number of guests. Functions of up to 250 guests can be accommodated in the main conference venue while the garden offers a picturesque backdrop for events of up to 350 people.

The resort boasts an onsite stable and trained guides who are available to take guests on scenic horse trails in the surrounding mountain ranges.
