The beautifully decorated Edwardian Style Victoria Falls Hotel is situated close to Vic Falls. The Hotel was established in 1904 and has recently been re-decorated. The Hotel gives you a real colonial-style feel. Upon entering the hotel you are welcomed by palm trees, lily ponds and lush flowering shrubs. The Hotel has its own private path leading you to the Vic Falls which is only a 10 minute walk.

The Victoria Falls Hotel is filled with a feeling of old-fashioned charm. The Hotel overlooks the Victoria Falls Bridge. For accommodation there are 171 rooms in which 8 are suites and 1 is a royal suite. The rooms have air-conditioning, en-suite bathroom facilities with baths as well as showers. Each suite has its own fridge and balcony. (The rooms have a real old fashioned style with four poster beds.) This gives it a real romantic feel. The Hotel is child friendly and offers special rates (under 2 years old stay free, ages 3-11 years old get free accommodation and 50% off meals, ages 12-16 years get 50% accommodation, meals are full charge.

Other features of the hotel are the babysitting, Internet lounge, gift shops, business centre, chapel and hairdresser. There are two all-weather floodlit tennis courts, a freshwater swimming pool, International 18 hole golf course nearby, a beauty salon and massage facility. You can go for game drives or venture the game viewing on foot. Really interesting is the Elephant-back Safaris, which is a must try. If you feel really adventurous you could go white-water rafting, or on canoe safaris, or on Zambezi River Cruises, bungee jumping or go on the vintage steam train excursions. You can also enjoy Tribal dancing, which is fantastic to watch.

For dining there is the splendid Livingston Room for fine dining and dancing. The Jungle Junction Summerhouse is for the more casual Buffet breakfast and casual dining. Then for light snacks, sundowners, luncheons or tea time you can enjoy overlooking the famous Victoria Falls Bridge from Stanley’s Terrace. The Victoria Fall Hotel is not just for accommodation but also a splendid place to tie the knot. It has a charming little chapel and lovely honeymoon suites. Wedding guests and honeymooners are given sparkling wine, Belgian chocolates, red roses, and a fresh fruit platter on arrival and champagne breakfast served in the privacy of there own room.
