Imbabala Lodge is 80 kilometers west of Victoria Falls and is located at the meeting point of Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Namibia. It is situated on the edge of the Zambezi River bank and snuggles into riverside vegetation which makes it one of the best game viewing and bird watching areas. Chobe National Park is adjacent to Imbabala Lodge and large herds of elephant, buffalo and other wildlife can be viewed.

A maximum of 18 guests are accommodated at Imbabala Lodge, which makes guests’ stay a personalized and exclusive experience. The 8 chalets (5 twin-bedded suites, 2 honeymoon suites and 1 family double-room) all have en-suites and each has a view of the Zambezi River. The rooms are decorated according to an individual theme and guests have choices between the luxury lodge, forest lodge, safari lodge and honeymoon. All the rooms have fans and mosquito nets. Disabled facilities are available. There is a swimming pool to cool guests down after a long exciting day under the African sun. Meals can be taken in the dining room or al fresco. Imbabala Lodge is renowned for their high culinary standards.
Float on the Imbabala Lodge’s privately owned pontoon and experience wildlife up close and personal. The wildlife comes to drink water which presents guests with a fantastic viewing opportunity while drifting along. Papyrus reeds attract a wide variety of birdlife that overlaps the area from the nearby Okavango Delta as well as birds from the region. An Ornithologist is available on request should guests need more information about the birdlife and species.
There are plenty of activities available for guests to enjoy, which include 4-wheel drive game viewing safaris, fishing, walking through the bush with an armed guide on hand, and river cruises. Excursions to Chobe National Park and Victoria Falls are available at an extra cost.
