Ilala Lodge is privately owned and situated close to the Victoria Falls. Guests may take an easy stroll to see the majestic falls, which is often referred to as “The smoke that thunders”, and to the user-friendly Victoria Falls town centre. Transport can be arranged if required.

Ilala Lodge offers affordable accommodation and has 32 rooms and 2 suites. All rooms are equipped with satellite TV, air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms. Tea and coffee is served in the mornings. Fruit baskets are placed in every room, which is a warm touch. The railway sleeper teak furnishing creates a distinguished African atmosphere. Patio doors lead out onto the lawns and the upper level room balconies, where guests can view the spray of the Victoria Falls. The National Park borders along the front of Ilala Lodge and wild animals can often be seen grazing here.

The Palms restaurant has an à la carte menu with a huge variety of authentic dishes. Breakfast, lunch and supper are served. Dining under the African sky whilst listening to the roar of the nearby falls, will make your dining an unforgettable experience. There is a “colonial” style terrace restaurant which caters for all tastes, may it be local or international, with an à la carte menu.

Conference facilities are also available at Iala Lodge.

Touring attractions are abundant and guests can go on game drives, elephant back rides, game drives and bush dinners. For those who like “adrenalin” activities, the options are - bungee jumping, white water rafting, gorge swinging, canoe safaris and many more. Visits are arranged to the crocodile farm and the nature sanctuary. No visit will be complete without a trip to the mighty Victoria Falls.
