I was happy with my stay at Gerties Lodge although as I am 68 it was a long way (5klms) to town and I had to catch a taxi to and from the lodge.Having said that I was generally happy with the accomodation and the staff were very friendly and helpful

A Paradise
Staying at Gerties Lodge was like staying in a mini paradise. The staff are all very helpful and friendly the rooms and the garden are just beautiful and fantastic! We recommend others especially with children to stay at Gerties Lodge!

Positive feedback
Gertie's Lodge was a pleasant accommodation experience. The garden setting and pool area was lovely, the Staff were helpful.
My only recommendation is that it would be useful to have a kitchen sink and fridge in the lodge. Thanks a good stay.

Chill out!
We had a wonderful stay at Gertie's Lodge and if ever we return to the Victoria Falls we shall certainly go back there. Lilian and her staff were friendly,helpful and they all made us feel at home from the day we arrived.
We were served a great breakfast every morning and we were sorry that we never had the opportunity to enjoy a barbecue in the immaculate gardens.
We are very glad we chose Gertie's - we highly recommend it.

What a fantastic trip
We had a wonderful time at Gerties. I found the staff all very hospitable and the rooms perfectly comfortable. Value for money!

Peaceful place
You want to visit Victoria Falls and need accomodation, book at Gerties Lodge. It is a nice and peaceful place, good service and friendly staff. You will enjoy it!

Nice talk att Vic Falls
We started our Zimvisit at Gerties Lodge and had a good time there. Nice house close to the swimmingpool, good and plenty of food for dinner and breakfast, interesting discussions/talks with the owner and good assistance to arrange a tour to Chobe and transport to Bulwayo.

Gerties for the Long Weekend
I stayed there with my family for the long weekend and could not fault anything with the lodge - comfortable lodges, superb service - Well done to Lilian, Brighton (the very useful Barman) and the rest of your wonderful staff - will certainly be back and recommend it to others

Gerties
Hello,
We needed urgent budget accomodation, and found it at Gerties. Prior to arrival I communicated via e mail, and always recieved a prompt response. The lady at the lodge, lilian I think, was extremly helpful and freindly.
Staff always smiling and friendly.
all in all, I would definitely go back to this lodge.

Would definitely recommend!
I stayed at Gertie's Lodge for 2 nights with mum. We couldn't have been happier. It was in a great spot (5 mins drive from the town/falls) and we felt very safe. The staff, expecially Lilian, went out of their way to make our stay more pleasant. We ate in the restaurant at the lodge both nights and for breakfast and the food was exquisite. Everything was freshly made to order. (Best mushroom soup I have ever had!) We will definitely be telling our friends to stay here. Thanks for making our time in Zimbabwe so fantastic!

vic falls trip enhanced due to superb hospitality
The lodge is a very quaint and very decent premises. maintained cleanly, the staff is very co-operative and interested to keep your stay comfortable. the service from the staff and the hostess was quite personalised and warm. i would strongly recommend the place.

I'd recommend Gertis Lodge anytime
The service was very good and the staff very helpful. Even though our stay was only for a night, it was nice and pleasant. We arrived quite late in the evening and the staff worked late and went out of their way to ensure we got our safari trip booking confirmed for the next day. The rooms are very clean and tidy, hot showers and cozy surroundings. I'd highly recommend Gertis to anyone who wnats to have a true African experience.

Lillian the best...
Gerties Lodge is a nice place to stay, clean, safe and exactly what if says on the brochure. I would like to comment on the owner, Lillian. She goes out of her way to help, allways friendly and goes the extra mile without having to ask. I will recommend her Lodge to all.

GERTIE'S LODGE, VICTORIA FALLS
Me and my husband stayed at Gertie's Lodge and all we can say is that the owner as well as the staff are extremely helpfull and friendly. Nothing that we asked was to much for them so they went out of their way to make it as pleasent for us as they could. It is a beautifull lodge, very neat and tidy, a lovely pool and a garden that take your breath away. We really enjoyed our stay there and whenever we go to the Falls again, we will certainly book at Gertie's Lodge.
