Elephant Camp

On 35,000 acres of privately owned property, 25km west of Victoria Falls, you will find the exclusive Elephant Camp.

Accommodation at Elephant Camp is luxurious, spacious and comfortable. There are 4 thatched-roofed cottages, (3 twin bed and 1 honeymoon suite), all with en-suite bathrooms. Maximum number of guests is 8, which makes this a very personal and private getaway. Meals are served in a central open plan lounge / dining area. There is a swimming pool and a bar with a raised deck, which has a panoramic view over open plains.

Elephant Camp's main attraction is the hands-on interaction with the four orphaned elephants. Miss Ellie, Jumbo, Jack and Jock have grown up amongst humans and are accustomed to contact and visitors. The elephants all have their own personalities and it is a delight to discover each of them. Do not be surprised if food "disappears" while having a picnic and Jack is close by. He is notorious for having a huge appetite.

Guests at Elephant Camp are encouraged to spend time with the elephants which could be from swimming, picnicking, feeding, washing and grooming or game viewing on elephant back. It is a great pleasure and experience to be so close to these majestic animals. It will leave an everlasting impression.

Day and night game drives are available. Guided game viewing walking safaris at Elephant Camp, as well as to the neighboring Zambezi National Park, are available.

No children under the age of 16 are allowed.
