Lochinvar Camp is an exotic African fantasy set up under canvas. The estate is a genuine historical "Out of Africa" farm and colonial cattle ranch, bestowed upon the nation in 1904 and the fabulous old colonial farmhouse is still standing, under the preservation order.

Lochinvar Camp has 6 double units that cater for a maximum of 12 guests at any given time. Each of the tents boast an en-suite bathroom, hairdryer, mosquito nets and private game-viewing deck. Guests can enjoy the peace and tranquility with the ever-changing waterscapes.

A fabulous range of scrumptious cuisine is served al'fresco, blending together the international flavors and the local ingredients of this African Country. Guests at Lochinvar Camp are given undivided attention from the hosts and staff, that includes a knowledgeable ornithologist as well as a guide.

Enjoy the marvelous game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, experience cultural visits to the traditional fishing villages, take part in the various watersports which normally includes mokoro (dug out canoe) excursions, boating and riverine ecology. Marvel at the abundant birdlife during the early mornings and late afternoons, as there are over 400 species that have been recorded. Some of the game to look out for are Kafue lechwe, zebra and Blue wildebeest.
