Kiambi Lower Zambezi is an exclusive lodge operated by Kiambi Safaris in the rich vegetation of the game management area of the Zambezi Valley. With its enviable location opposite Kanyembi Island, the lodge offers an unexpected combination of Africa's scenery and wildlife.

The eco-sensitive camp was developed to blend perfectly into the surrounding wild bush area with minimal impact on the fragile environment. Guests are spoilt with an unprecedented African safari, combining spacious accommodation with breath-taking views over the Zambezi River. Spend relaxing days at the swimming pool and evenings under the African sky perched around the camp's boma (communal outdoor fire).

The accommodation is comprised of luxurious tented rooms, tastefully decorated and set up high on wooden platforms to provide an outlook over the wilderness area. Relax on your elevated teak deck, and absorb the magnificent Zambezi and Kafue Rivers from private wooden decks.

Each of the 8 tented rooms has uninterrupted views with an emphasis on comfort, safety and pure indulgence. The rooms are furnished with Rhodesian teak and the bedrooms kitted out to provide the ultimate comfort with cotton percale linen, a fan and bar fridge. For added safety, the rooms are insect proof and the entire camp is regularly sprayed with an eco-friendly chemical to repel mosquitoes.

Like any authentic African safari, Kiambi Lower Zambezi lodge offers incredible game-viewing and other activities like canoeing, fishing, a houseboat on the Kariba, sunset cruises, bungi jumping and white water rafting. You can also choose to hire a boat to laze the day away exploring the waterways of the Zambezi and have close encounters with hippos, crocodiles and spectacular bird-life.
