"My daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights.Although I had my accom.direct voucher to show that I had paid with my credit card(visa)before I left Australia, the staff were insistent that I had not Paid,so, my daughter then paid with her Amex card.Previously I had spoken to Donna(Accomm.direct)and had paid her with my visa via a phone call. She was helpful and set about rectifying the matter quickly, which she did so. We did receive an apology from the hotel and eventually my daughter received a refund for her Amex payment. However, on my daughter's bank statement she was underpaid the amount by $94 which is disappointing. She is able to send a copy of the statement to prove this happened. She also left a t/shirt in the room accidently, and upon realising this, ,immediately phoned the hotel, to notify of her forgotten t/shirt.She a was told by a security fellow named Martin, that he had found the t/shirt she had described,(with a butterfly on the front)and they would forward same to her.She had given her forwarding address to Camp's Bay Resort. The Zambezi hotel already had her credit card details and so we assumed the parcel would eventually find it's way to the address at Camp's Bay and then it was to be forwarded on to Kate's address in Australia.Kate made several calls to the parties involved but to no avail! This has been an unpleasant experience as a great deal of effort was put into this. Otherwise,we really enjoyed our stay. regards Mary Crute"
