Located on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River, and just upstream from the National Park, is the exclusive Kanyemba Lodge. Completely surrounded by nature and the countries rich heritage, the lodge will provide all travelers with a quintessential African experience. Made up almost entirely of natural materials, the building of the lodge was designed perfectly, down to the smallest detail to ensure that guests are as comfortable as possible and that they have the best views of the paradise that surrounds them.

Accommodation at the Kanyemba Lodge consists of:

6 chalets, including a honeymoon suite, which are discreetly located on the river bank under the shadow of wild mangoes and huge trees. Each chalet has its own private veranda overlooking the Zambezi River, where early morning tea and coffee are delivered at the time of your specified wake up call. Beautifully decorated and inspired by local art, the chalets also have en-suite bathrooms which include state-of-the art fittings and lighting.

A walk in robe with shelving, hanging rails, and room for storage and ceiling fans are also made available for guests at each chalet. The central building contains a dining room, a bar, a lounge and a very well stocked library. Kanyembe Lodge boasts an award winning chef who provided guests with 3 sumptuous meals a day. To escape from the strong Zambian sun, guests can relax at the pool while sipping a refreshing cocktail. Other amenities available at the lodge include a daily laundry service, e-mail and a satellite telephone.

Guests will be kept very well occupied with all the activities that Kanyembe Lodge offers to them. These include many wonderful types of safaris such as canoe safaris which are all conducted by trained guides, angling and tours of the national park. For guests looking for slower paced adventures, they may simply relax at the pool or make use of the incredible library that is at their disposal.
