At Sausage Tree Camp, guests get the best of both worlds - game viewing, walks, the rough and tumble of boating and other adventure activities, as well as the pampering luxury the Camp has to offer. One of the indulgences you will get to experience is the mouth-watering cuisine, prepared by Sausage Tree Camp's resident French chef. Dining under the stars, by candlelight will leave you satisfied and feeling completely one with nature.

There are six canvas tents, which are styled in the way of the African nomads - the Bedouin. Each tent has its own private bathroom, to ensure maximum privacy and comfort for all guests, as well as soft, sumptuous four-poster beds and mosquito nets. And what's more, each tent is assigned a personal butler or "Muchinda" to look after you and attend to your needs. Each morning guests will wake up to a breathtaking Zambezi River view.

What sets Sausage Tree Camp apart from other camps of its sort, is perhaps the fact that the camp is not fenced in, allowing the elephants to roam free, and the guests to experience these larger than life creatures from the comfort of their living quarters.
