Bushbuck River House

Bushbuck River House is located on Liyoyelo Farm just outside the National Park on the banks of the Zambezi River. Victoria Falls is 16 kilometers upstream from Bushbuck River House. The house is run by the owner, and is set on 105 acres of bush.

Bushbuck River House offers affordable mid-range accommodation, and has 5 en-suite rooms. There is a swimming pool, a pool house, and a tree house with a viewing platform overlooking the river. These are ideal areas to sit and relax, watch the birds, and watch the sun set on the African horizon. There are private camping facilities available, but prior arrangement will need to be made.

The house offers bed and breakfast, but bookings can be made for lunch and dinner. Staff are accommodating to the needs of their guests, and the personal service showered on the guests is outstanding.

Guests can spend infinite time viewing various wild and birdlife. Game - such as elephant, bushbuck, waterbuck and hippo's frequent the property. This is a bird watchers paradise, with kingfishers and eagles all coming to feed along the banks of the river. There is opportunity to walk on the grounds and photographers can capture many memorable moments on camera. Depending on the water level of the river, walks can also be taken to one of the nearby islands above Victoria Falls.
