The Southern Belle

The Southern Belle is a magnificent 55-meter vessel, boasting 5 decks, complete with air-conditioned cabins accommodating a total of 42 guests. Being the largest houseboat on Lake Kariba, you will be ensured maximum service and top-quality accommodation.

The ship consists of a Main Saloon, complete with a 3-piece band and dance floor, which is the host of many vivid and exciting evenings. The Southern Belle has a reception area, to ensure that any requests or queries you might have are properly and efficiently tended to.

There is also a conference room and TV lounge located on the upper deck of The Southern Belle. This area has its own private veranda, with space for 20 people to view the provided screen, projector and make use of the other provided business facilities. The lounge is a great place to relax and view the beautiful Lake Kariba by way of the roof to ceiling glass windows. The Southern Belle also boasts a complete cocktail bar and dining saloon. The mouth-watering cuisine prepared and served by a team of resident chefs, includes special food requirements, such as Halaal and vegetarian options.

For entertainment, The Southern Belle offers a stunning plunge pool and sun deck, as well as various board and card games. Off ship, there are a large variety of activities offered to guests, such as game-viewing cruises, fishing trips and guided walking-safaris, to name a few.
