Situated right on the lakeshore, overlooking the vastness of Lake Kariba is Caribbea Bay. Lush lawns and gardens roll down to the water lapping at the edge of this awesome man made lake. This Sardinian-style hotel, with its sprawling buildings and evergreen gardens is reminiscent of a Mediterranean resort with facilities and entertainment for the whole family. Caribbea Bay offers guests a sun-filled holiday in relaxed comfort. Linger over sundowners on the pool deck, enjoy an informal dinner in the restaurant, or play the tables in the intimate casino.

Caribbea Bay has a range of attractively furnished rooms, ranging from Executive Suites to Casitas, each with its own private balcony, air-conditioning and overhead fan. Conferencing facilities for up to 100 people are available as well as no less than four different bars at which to quench you’re thirst. Guests can cool off in any of the two swimming pools, whilst children can play on the small sandy beach in the playground or on the supatube waterslide.

The Carribea Bay accommodates 83 rooms of which 41 are Casitas, 35 are Deluxe rooms, 2 are Casita suites, 3 are Deluxe suites and 2 are executive suites. Seventy four of the rooms have two single beds, seven rooms have queen size beds and two rooms have king size beds.

We also offer wheelchairs for the disabled, a clinic, open secure parking, car hire, same day laundry service, local tours, safety deposit boxes, a touring desk, curio shop, hairdressing salon, babysitters, porters lodge and packed lunches, room service. You can relax outside at one of two swimming pools. For dining there are 3 restaurants - the Terrace Patio which seats 80 people, Pedro's with its a la carte menu seating 60 people, and the Pool area with a snack menu seating 100 people. There are also a choice of bars which are Casino Bar, Casita Bar, Jacana Bar, Service Bar and Round Bar.

Caribbea Bay offers a small but comfortable array of conferencing and banqueting facilities. The largest room being the Masaisai Room which can hold a maximum of 120 people, this room has high ceilings but remains intimate and warm.

With a small adjoining kitchen, catering for functions in this conference room is effortless. There are also two smaller rooms ideal for board meetings and small conferences. All conferencing venues have flexible seating plans and are fully air conditioned.

Hotel staff are well trained and dedicated to ensuring that all events are trouble free and seamlessly put together. Guests are advised to communicate any special equipment hire needs in advance to ensure they can be adequately catered for.

For fun the children can enjoy the playground nearby which has an array of things to do like supatube waterslide, tennis, trampoline, indoor games, squash and bowling. For the adults there is something a little more serious - blackjack, slots and American roulette.

Some of the wonderful attractions include tours taking you to Kariba Village, sunset cruises - a must on the beautiful Kariba Lake, awesome game drives, fun fishing or you can visit a Crocodile farm nearby. If you need to get rid of some energy why not have a game of tennis, squash or go bowling (nearby).

Caribbea Bay has two restaurants, the main terrace restaurant and the poolside eating area, to which both offer stunning views of The Lake. The dress code is casual for all meals and special seating plans are easily accommodated, making the hotel a flexible venue with the ability to cater for large groups or for an intimate couple’s dinner.
