Five minutes from the bustling centre of Zimbabwe’s capital, Harare, York lodge is a traditional peaceful escape from the busy surrounds. York Lodge is a tranquil setting, its buildings designed in the traditional colonial style and lavishly decorated with luxurious finishes. Secluded from the noise of the busy city around it, York Lodge is the ideal venue for guests wanting to escape to a luxurious bed-and-breakfast.
Accommodation at York Lodge consists of the following:
York Lodge offers its guests 7 luxury suites, each set with a romantic pillared veranda and overlooking the lodge’s garden escape. Each suite has an ensuite bathroom and is decorated in high-class design and equipped with all necessary luxuries including a bath and shower, telephone, safe, ceiling fan, hairdryer and satellite television. Room service ensures guests’ every whim is pandered to, while 24-hour security means guests can relax in safety.
York Lodge is situated close to the Newlands shopping complex which will provide guests with a host of banks, restaurants, boutiques, a hairdresser, a chemist and a post office. Guests also have the ability to use business facilities onsite, and the lodge allows for small conferences. The lodge is fitted out with a tennis court and a swimming pool for the more active visitor. York Lodge provides its guests with transfers to and from Harare Airport. Regrettably, the lodge does not provide for children under the age of 12 to be accommodated, unless by specific arrangement.
